ADMINISTRATORS STATEMENT :
JUMAO-AS BAGUIO LEARNING CENTER, INC.
Welcome to Jumao-as Baguio Learning Center, Inc. webpage! My name is Milagros J. Alcordo, born in Clarin Bohol , May 5,1943. I spent my elementary years in Cordova Central Elementary school, my high school years in Butuan Agusan, my college years at St Alphonsus, Lapulapu and St. Theresas College, Cebu City.
I graduated and obtained my degree in Nursing at Southern Islands Hospital School of Nursing and migrated to the United States of America in 1972 working in Geriatric nursing, mental health and mentally retarded young and old populace intermittently for 29 years.
I believe the good Lord, the creator and sustainer of my life, must have prepared my education and training so that upon retirement I would face the challenge of running a school, for HIS glory.
Our school is centered on my belief systems and is understood and shared practice in all areas of our daily operation:
1: Education offers the power to liberate oppressed people from social, economic and political conditions that often disempower and liberate marginalized people.
2: I believe in every child’s ability, creativity, intelligence and dedication to the things they believe and the ability to overcome obstacles in their lives.
3: Family and school partnership are a collaborative relationship, based on mutual trust and respect therefore nurtured every day, regardless of the social cultural and economic background of the child.
I believe: UNLESS THE LORD BUILDS THE HOUSE, THEY LABOR IN VAIN THAT BUILDS IT.
Psalms 127:1
I pray that I have shared the embodiment of JBLC and that you will consider to join in our quest for better education for our children of tomorrow.

CONSULTANT STATEMENT
Greetings and welcome to our JBLC website. My name is Rustem Gerardus Knuvelder (Rudy) and I am employed in service to the school as an Educational Consultant. I have 25 years of teaching experience with Advanced Skills Classroom Teaching and Level 3 Administration and as Level 3 Classroom Teacher in a number of Secondary Senior High Schools in Western Australia.
My vision and mission for this school is to enhance the quality of education to create a learning environment that prepares the student for their next phases of development and preparedness for their futures.
To this end I will work to promote the school ethos and to apply all the requirements of the Department of Education of the Philippines.
My own daughter attends this school and I chose this school for her because in my experience and opinion, JBLC has much appeal and much to offer. It has more a village rather than a factory atmosphere. A small school with a high teacher to student ratio, very pleasant garden surrounds, quiet and very safe side street off the national highway, lovely dedicated teachers, very sound policies in place regarding attendance, dress code, discipline and programming.
The school also is very proactive in cultural celebrations, community involvement and school projects such as life skills programmes, gift giving, recycling, nutrition month, dance rehearsals,Scouts programme and many more.
My overall impression is that JBLC is a happy safe place loved by all the students, staff and the community with a family atmosphere and very much reflects the love and dedication of the owner and administrator Mrs. Milagros Alcordo. I am very proud to be associated with this school and pledge to do my utmost to contribute to its continuing growth, development and excellence.
Thank you.
